Eating out gluten free can be frustrating. Finding a dedicated gluten free facility to eat at can be a huge relief when you have celiac disease. Often we will drive a long way, just for the peace of eating a meal without the fear of getting sick. I drive about an hour to get to my favorite place, Kirari West in California.
Below is a list of all the 100% gluten free restaurants and bakeries I have found in Kansas. Hopefully, this list will continue to get bigger.

Emily Kate’s Bakery is 100% gluten free and celiac safe. They are a dedicated gluten free bakery so you can relax and enjoy anything on the menu, which is a big deal when you have celiac disease.
Their menu includes delicious gluten free foods including donuts, cookie sandwiches, cinnamon rolls and cupcakes.

Hull Lotta Ice

Hull Lotta Ice is a gluten free dessert shop. It’s hard to find that they are gluten free. So I contacted them and they verified it. They sell Tropical Sno with many flavors, but don’t have a website. You can call them or use Facebook for any questions. Hull Lotta Ice is located at the address below, next to Crazy Good Eats, and is open through September 30.

Mama Resch’s

Mama Resch’s is a 100% gluten free bakery. They are also an allergy free bakery who serve vegan options too. This is a great bakery for anyone who has celiac disease along with other food allergies. Mama Resch’s has no gluten, wheat, corn, soy, casein, dairy, peanuts or tree nuts, and no artificial colors or flavors.

Shana Cake

Shana Cake is 100% gluten free and safe for celiacs. Shanacake is officially changing owners on August 1, 2019. They are using the month of July to transition, without interrupting business, and they will be keeping the same recipes and maintaining allergy awareness.
All Shana Cake products are free of 7 of the top 8 allergens (wheat, soy, dairy, corn, nuts, treenuts, and of course fish and shellfish!). They are working on getting eggs out of some products as well.
This is a great bakery if you have multiple food allergies. I encourage everyone to show the new owner, Kelsey Frye support!

Perfect Plate is not really a restaurant, it’s more of a GF meal service. Basically, you preorder meals, pick up the prepared food and then heat them up at home.
I’ve included them on the 100% Gluten Free Kansas List because the convenience and joy of having safe fresh meals can be valuable for someone with celiac disease.
→ Perfect Plate is a completely gluten free establishment and all the meals are 100% gluten free.
There is a small amount of seating and microwaves to heat the meals at Perfect Plate, but generally they are made to be taken home. You can also use Grub Hub and have Perfect Plate delivered to your door.
